Terms of service
These terms cover playing on the MilitaryRP game server and using milrp.co. By doing either, you agree to them.
Last updated 22 October 2026
Who can play
You must be 13 or older, and we recommend 16 or older. You need your own Steam account and a copy of Garry's Mod, and you must follow Steam's own terms. Staff can decide a player isn't a good fit for the community if they lack the maturity it needs.
The server rules
The server rules are part of these terms. Staff enforce them and decide punishments by the tiers set out there. If you think a punishment was wrong, you can appeal it.
Your account on this website
You sign in with Steam, so keep your Steam account secure. We never ask for your password. We can hide a profile with an inappropriate name or avatar, remove access to the website for anyone who abuses it, and delete the account of anyone under 13. You can download your data or delete your account at any time from your settings.
Reports and appeals
What you send in a report or appeal must be true. False reports and appeals break the rules and can be punished. Staff use what you send to moderate the community and may share it with other staff while they look into it.
Using the website
- Don't try to break, overload or get around the website's security, including the admin panel and the API.
- Don't scrape the website in a way that slows it down for everyone else.
- Automated agents and browsers acting for a person are welcome to read public pages. They must follow robots.txt and only send reports, appeals or other forms when the person they act for asks them to.
Rank and V.I.P
Ranks and V.I.P status come from the game server. Staff can change or remove them, for example after a rule break.
Not affiliated
MilitaryRP is a community server. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Valve, Facepunch Studios or Discord. Steam is a trademark of Valve Corporation, Garry's Mod is a trademark of Facepunch Studios and Discord is a trademark of Discord Inc.
No guarantees
We run the server and website as a community project and provide them as they are. We try to keep them online and accurate but can't promise they always will be. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss from using them. Nothing here limits rights you have by law.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to play or use the website means you accept it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions go to the address on our contact page.
